Die Perdeplaas is located in the beautiful Bronberg area in Pretoria East.

Children and adults feel free and relaxed on the farm and get to interact with horses (and a couple of other farm animals) in a safe and fun way.

We offer various riding disciplines in a non-competitive environment. This exposure to a range of disciplines allows the riders a chance to find something they truly enjoy without the stress of competition. We have training shows on the farm, partake in social endurance rides and there is occasional SANESA participation for those interested.

We believe in teaching horsemanship, and have lessons focusing on horse care from the beginning. Riders are expected to take an active part in the care of the horses they ride while on the farm. This includes tacking up horses if needed before lessons and making sure that the horses are comfortable after the lessons.

We have events throughout the year that includes Western games, endurance rides, moonlight rides, fancy dress, training shows and entrepreneural days.

Over most school holidays we offer pony camps. The camps are typically 3 days long and include a range of activities. Space is limited, so keep an eye on our Facebook page for any updates.
